JUNEAU, Alaska -- March 30 of every year would be declared "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" under a bill that has passed the Alaska House.

Navarro Rifles Chapter 1009 - The Spirit of Patriotism

On Veterans Day more than seventeen hundred American flags fluttered over the graves of veterans buried in the Corsciana, Texas area. The previous weekend both on Saturday and Sunday members of Navarro Rifles Chapter 1009 had visited Oakwood, Hamilton-Beemon, Woodland, Eureka, Hopewell, Black Hills, and Providence Cemeteries. They were joined by their wives, a dozen members of Cub Scout Pack 253, and another dozen from the Corsicana High School Junior ROTC.
